Is Aspectr GDPR-compliant? Does my data stay private?

For images: yes, fully. All image processing happens in your browser via Canvas API. Your files are never uploaded to a server, never leave your device, and are never stored anywhere outside your machine. For video: files are uploaded to a processing server for encoding (typically 8-15 seconds), then the output is delivered back and the source is deleted. No data is retained after processing.

What file formats and maximum file sizes are supported?

Aspectr supports JPG, PNG, WebP, and GIF for images, and MP4 and MOV for video. There is no hard file size limit. Performance depends on your browser and device. Most users work comfortably with images up to 20 MB and videos up to 200 MB.

Can I add my brand logo and text overlays to every export?

Yes. Overlay presets let you add logos, text, and CTA elements to your exports. You create a preset once and apply it across all sizes. The overlays scale and position automatically per format, so your branding stays consistent whether the output is a Meta story or a Google display banner.

Does Aspectr handle video resizing?
